Erin Mackey was born in Fullerton, California. From a very early age she sang, danced and performed in little plays by herself or with her sisters, Emily and Liz. From kindergarten through 6th grade she continued to participate in the school musicals. She was Puck in Midsummer Night's Dream, Jane in Mary Poppins, Rutledge in 1776, Becky in Tom Sawyer, to name a few. At 10 she joined a repertory company for children ages 10 through 14 directed by Vicki Schindele and Alberta Strey. In her first show, Brigadoon, she was seen by a talent agent and asked if she would like to start auditioning for film and TV. Her very first audition was for re-make of The Parent Trap (1998). After numerous callbacks for camp kids she was cast as the Hallie/Annie acting double. Off to London, Napa, Lake Arrowhead and then to Sony Studios. Since that time she has continued doing community and high school theater. She has a great manager and agent to help her pursue film and tv. Last summer she was fortunate to book a pilot entitled "Happy Wife, Happy Life" written and directed by the creators of "Growing Pains." She is a junior in high school presently. She has great friends, loves to sing and act, kick-box, go to Disneyland, hang-out, read scripts and is an avid reader of the Harry Potter series. Her ultimate dream is to find herself in a leading role on Broadway.
